Crop Picture privacy & data handling

1. Data Collection

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data or media. Cropping logic runs entirely in your browser using Canvas and Web APIs.

• • No cookies or tracking: The site sets no cookies, pixels, or fingerprinting scripts. We do not run analytics.
• • In-memory processing: Uploaded or pasted images never leave local memory. Refreshing or closing the tab clears the session automatically.
• • Clipboard permissions: When pasting images, the browser may ask for permission. Clipboard content is never transmitted to Crop Picture or third parties.

2. Third-Party Services

Crop Picture is a static site hosted on privacy-friendly infrastructure. We avoid embedding third-party widgets that track behaviour.

• • Ads & analytics: None today. If we experiment with sponsorships, they will be contextual and tracker-free.
• • Community links: Telegram and Discord links simply open in new tabs. We do not log clicks.
• • Fonts & assets: CSS and fonts are served via CDN with standard caching headers and no visitor profiling.

3. Children's Privacy

Crop Picture is intended for professionals and hobbyists over 13. We do not knowingly request or store personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided information, contact us and we will assist immediately.

4. Data Security

Because all processing occurs locally, there are no application databases or file stores to secure. We recommend keeping your browser updated and using trusted networks when exporting files.

5. Changes to This Policy

We publish meaningful changes on the blog and tag them with Privacy. Continued use of Crop Picture after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
